Hard enamel keychain

A hard enamel keychain is a metal body with color filled flush to the line, then polished so the face is one plane. Typical souvenir faces sit about 1.5 to 2 inches. Zinc-alloy enamel bodies are commonly about 1.8 to 2 millimeters thick. Soft enamel leaves the color recessed; hard enamel does not. That flush face still reads after an International Drive storm.
Flush fill, not a sticker
Hard enamel uses more color than a recessed fill. The metal line and the color sit at the same height. Light does not pool in the recesses the way it does on soft enamel. Pewter charms on this wall are the same job in a cast metal: a named shape on a split ring, heavier than acrylic, quieter than a bottle-opener lever.
Weight is the park-bag fact. Enamel and pewter tug a thin ring. Look at the gap before a park week. If daylight already shows, replace the ring. Do not hang a 2-inch metal face and a 2-inch acrylic map on the same opened coil.
Rain, heat, hotel hook
